Echo Lost Ghost closes out the trilogy of albums I began writing in Ohio. Inspired by Haruki Murakami's book Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World where the narrator becomes detached from his shadow I gave all the songs excluding Orchestral Maneuvers in the Park and Big Haunt a musical shadow in an attempt to capture the surreal qualities of the novel.
