Croaking Movement was the first album I recorded on a computer. Strangely, with boundless options available I decided to limit myself to only electric guitar and effects pedals for instrumentation. Inspired by the drip paintings of Jackson Pollock I wanted to pour, drip, and fling sound onto the canvas and seldom plaid guitar in the traditional manner. Slapping and scraping percussive sounds out of the instrument and creating drones and sound effects through experimentation and knob twiddling.
